Education
Under this programme area, CYECE focuses on;
  • Facilitate entrepreneurial skills development trainings for young people
  • Establish youth talent development and promotion programme for both rural and urban youth especially in sports, music, fine arts, spoken word, drama etc.
  • Facilitate Internships/ mentorship and work Volunteer programs for college and university students and graduates (local and international)
  • Conduct community-based youth vocational and livelihood skills trainings
  • Facilitate referrals to institutions that provide vocational skills for skills perfection and certification e.g., TEVETA
  • Establish Youth Creative Hubs and skills training centers
  • Establish sports academies for children and young people
  • Linking young people to other institutions for capacity building and learning
  • Conducting trainings for young people in Business Management skills (SIYB, GYBI etc.)

  • Facilitating scholarships / fellowships for young people
  • Capacity building of young people for policy engagement using social accountability monitoring among other models.
  • Youth volunteer and internship programme for in and outside Malawi  
  • Establishing and strengthen local, regional, national and international young entrepreneurship networks and associations  
  • Facilitating Non-formal Education for Out of School youth to improve literacy and numeracy skills for entrepreneurship purposes
  • Linking Non-Formal Education students to vocational skill centers
